Sevak Solutions is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was established to support economic development poverty alleviation in emerging markets. The company is promoting technology innovations, as well as pioneering business models and collaborative efforts, to dramatically increase the scale of critical services required by the world's urban and rural poor. Special emphasis is placed on creating financially sustainable businesses that deliver affordable solutions to the poor. Although Sevak Solutions' efforts were initially focused on financial services, the gratifying success of the mobile financial services industry is enabling the company to expand its vision. While we continue pursuing our core business, we are also actively engaged in leveraging this base by identifying related challenges that require incubation and support.
Our mission is to extend the reach of critical services to the world's poor - who live on less than $2 a day - through a combination of innovation, business acumen, and deep expertise.
Providing consulting services within the mobile financial services sector remains one of Sevak Solutions' core lines of business. We specialize in the role mobile technologies can play in reaching unbanked populations. Sevak Solutions partners with international development organizations, financial institutions, mobile operators, and technology companies to successfully develop their companies and deliver electronic payment solutions to markets around the world.
The company has also developed an international portfolio of start-up and early stage technology companies that are building businesses to meet the needs of underserved markets. Sevak Solutions supports these companies through a range of activities, such as business development, technical assistance, and implementation.
